Studio 141 | 2018 - 2019

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Working at Studio 141 I was responsible for taking on multiple projects simultaneously. My primary focus was assisting with the design and production of a bilingual quarterly publication called Professionally Speaking. I worked with the Creative Director to ensure that each issue met the deadline for print. Some responsibilities included:

• Redesigning out dated marketing material to communicate more efficiently to the target audience by ensuring the content was easy to read. This was done by checking colour contrasts, font weights and choosing images relevant to topic

• Working on multiple design requests for variety a of clients simultaneously, prioritizing projects efficiently and working as a cohesive team by keeping openlines of communication about progress and set backs in order to meet deadlines

• Translating raw data into visual assets such as line and pie charts, graphs, and maps. Redesigning charts to meet AODA standards by utilizing the WCAG contrast checker
